One could be forgiven for mistaking Ophelia for just any other Seeker of the Sun. At first glance, Ophelia might look like any other, with her vertically aligned pupils, heterochromia, her thicker tail and Seeker of the Sun clanmarks on her face and body. However, she's actually half Keeper of the Moon too! A fact made most obvious when she bares her fangs, though the length of her ears and tail speaks to her moon lineage also.Apart from this, Ophe is like most Miqo'te on the outside; cheerful, playful and carefree. On the inside however she has been through a lot, losing her mother at a very young age humbled her. She wears her heart on her sleeve and isn't afraid to give her opinion on any matter.She inherited incredible skill in magicks from her parents. A deep love and care for Eorzea and her peoples from her mother and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge from her father. Always striving to learn the inner workings of the world, the Aether that make up themselves and everything around them. Always determined to protect that which cannot protect itself.Confident, proud and strong. Ophe will fight for everything she believes in and will often put the safety of others far above herself. She also knows how to have a good time, playing tricks and bullying her closest friends are some of the ways she shows her trust and affection. Once a part of her life, you're held dearly in her heart for the rest of her days.
Timeline
Early Life - 1.X
Ophe was born in Gridania, to Miqo'te parents. Her mother was a prominent White Mage and the first Miqo'te to be granted the rank of Padjali. Her father was an adept Sage and member of Sharlayan's Circle of Knowing.Ophe was raised with her mother until the age of 12 when her mother passed away to an unknown, incurable illness. She was sent to Sharlayan to be with her father but due to his role in the Circle of Knowing, he was not in a position to care for her. With no other option his surrogate father, friend and head of the Students of Baldesion, Galuf offered to take her in. Her father having also been under the care of Galuf.The loss of her mother and being taken in by Galuf forced Ophe to grow up faster than others her age. Living with Galuf meant that she had more interaction with him than her own father, seeing him as more of her role model, even going as far as calling him uncle Gal. Though she bore no ill feelings towards her father because he did care very much for her. But duty often took priority and with her fast growing and open mind, Ophe understood.She soon joined the Students of Baldesion. Even with Galuf as her guardian, he never went easy on her. She knew she had to earn her way through. Very soon found she had a knack for all things magic. With her dense Aether and incredible talent she quickly became an adept caster. Her natural affinity for healing pushed her to take up her parents mantles as a prominent white mage and sage. But she was no slouch when it came to casting magicks! Quickly finding her skill and ability in summoning and black magicks that worked in tandem with her white magicks.Once Ophe was of age, she was sent out on her own missions to study the affects that the ongoing Dragonsong War was having on the lands Aether. It was here she met Estinien who at the time was a Temple Knight. The two had brief interactions as he, along with a few other members of the temple knights, were tasked with guarding for Ophe and her expedition team. But this would not be the last time they met.
A Realm Reborn - 2.X
Ophelia completed her expedition and with her team, returned to Sharlayan to report their findings. Quickly thereafter, she became fed up with her city state and their lack of desire to help the people of Eorzea. The death, destruction, displacement and suffering that she saw during her travels to Ishgard infuriated her. Making her determined to venture out and make a difference out there in the world. Out of fear and duty, her father protested, saying it was her destiny to be a member of the Circle of Knowing.Her uncle Gal however, gave her his blessing and ferried her off to her old home town of Gridania in secret. Ophe chose to start there as she heard rumours of Aetheric disturbances. A strong sense of attachment to the home she grew up in, she ventured to Gridania to protect the forest and it's peoples, much like her mother did during her time as Padjali.Upon arrival, Ophe joined the White Mages' guild and the Order of the Twin Adder Grand Company. To further her study and skills in the art of healing. Quickly rising through the ranks of both as she assists the Wood Wailers in staunch defense and protection of Gridania and her peoples. It is here she first meets two Scions of the Seventh dawn, though she is not aware of this at first, this would not be the first time she would meet a member of the Scions.Over several months, Ophe set about her duties diligently, saving the forest from many would be disasters and earning herself the title of Padjali much like her mother did all those years ago. Her desire to help people had only grown even more during her time in Gridania, knowing there is always more work to be done, more people to save and more adventure to be had. She set out on a journey to assist other city states, assisting them with problems, often created at the hands of the Garleans.At first she takes a harsh view on the Garleans, almost coming to hate and despise them. However, through several months of fighting with them in many skirmishes across Ul'dah and Limsa. She comes to learn what makes the Garleans tick. She begins to study what makes them powerful, despite their lack of magical ability. Why they have such an intense desire for conquest, and what motivates them so.At end of the events at the Praetorium and the destruction of Ultima Weapon. She finds that she is unable to forget the words of Gaius Van Baelsar regarding gods, deities and man's destiny. His words resonate with her, and she finds that she is able to come to a level of understanding of the Garlean people, thus her initial hatred turns to a curiousity to further her knowledge about their inner workings.
Heavensward - 3.X
After the events of bloody banquet in Ul'dah, Ophelia along with the surviving Scion colleagues are forced to seek refuge at Ishgard. At first they find nothing but resistance, until House Fortemps offers them solace in return for their services. It is through aiding them in neighbouring territories, that Ophe meets Haurchefant, over time the two begin to form a strong bond. This bond quickly becomes attraction between the pair.Neither of them act on these rising emotions, instead choosing to remain focused on their duties. Their bond growing stronger as yet more secrets about the dragonsong war are unravelled and the truth of the Holy See's treachery is revealed. Culminating in a raid on the Vault, where Ophe battles through the corrupted Temple Knights to reach the Archbishop before he makes his escape. Little did everyone know they'd sprung a trap that the knights had laid should they make it to the top of the vault. In a flash of blinding light, Haurchefant sacrifices himself to protect Ophe, taking a fatal wound that Ophe could not heal, and dying in her arms.This moment changes something in her heart. The loss so sudden and so overwhelming that she begins to strike in anger. Making a point to take revenge on the knights and the Archbishop for the death of the man she was falling for.She finds an unlikely ally in her quest for revenge, in Estinien. Now the Azure Dragoon, having risen left the temple knights, and gaining rank amongst the illustrious Dragoons in the absence between their meetings. The pair had worked together for a time upon her return to Ishgard, tasked with finding a peaceful end to the Dragonsong War alongside Lady Iceheart and instructed by Ser Aymeric. What little memory of their time together during Ophe's first visit to Ishgard remained, the two of them had changed drastically. The once quiet Dargoon often butt heads with his Miqo'te companion. Disagreeing on the best solution to end the drangsong war.During their time together, they gain a mutual respect for each other. Concluding and accepting that they both want the same thing, peace. She comes to understand why Estinien holds such rage in his heart towards dragonkind and makes attempts to appease and calm his fury. Knowing that underneath all that hate, rage and fury is a man who just wants the best for his people. After Haurchefant's death, the pair grieve together. Ophe for her first real love and Estinien for a dear friend and fellow knight.

Just your average Blacksmith
with dreams of travelling the world!
Gid'eon is a goofy guy, the kind that makes friends with everyone. He has a welcoming, cheesy smile that no one can resist. He lost his father very early in his life and doesn't have many memories of him. Only that he was a skilled warrior who died in battle at Cartenaux Flats, thus prompted Gid'eon to take up the axe himself.During his time wielding the axe, Gid'eon served in the Brass Blades. Serving in defense of Ul'dah in her many times of need, partaking in several battles where he showed off his incredible skill with his giant, handcrafted greataxe. During such times, he earned titles like; Gid'eon the Unbreakable.After a long journey as a travelling mercenary, he found that he had a talent and a passion for blacksmithing. Having learned a think or two from the many merchants he safely escorted between towns and settlements. He setup shop down in the merchant strip in Ul'dah, making quality weapons and armours for the Brass Blades that he once served under and the many adventurers that began their journeys in the desert town. Soon thereafter, his title of the Unbreakable became known for his incredible quality of arms and armor!Deep down though, he had an intense desire and a burning passion to explore the world. Taking time off work whenever he could, he would travel to other lands to experience the cultures that Eorzea has to offer!

The FirstVena is a scarred man, suffering the loss of his dear brother Tiarn, a loss he blames himself entirely for. He was shunned and exiled from his home village. Once a prominent greatsword wielder he took up the mantle of Gunbreaker and ventured around the first. Acting as a mercenary and sin eater hunter.As a result of his trauma, Vena is very stoic, quiet and reserved. He keeps his past locked away inside his heart and often times fights recklessly with little regard for his own safety. This has led to many self treated injuries, his body littered with battle scars for each and every enocounter with powerful sin eaters.But underneath all of that, Vena has a fiery spirit, a love for cooking sweets and a strong desire to protect people who cannot protect themselves. Deep down he yearns to rid the First of all sin eaters, believing this to be his sole purpose for being, his penance for the mistake he will never live down.The SourceVena is a calm, polite and welcoming young Sage. He's very academically minded, but keeps fit and healthy all the same. A diligent and model student focused on becoming the best Sage there is and forwarding his scientific knowledge about the inner workings of future technology.Vena lost his parents at a young age in an accident and believes he lost his brother too. Both brothers suffering identical injuries and identical memory loss, wound up in different hospitals and different orphanages. Neither brother realising that the other survived, were both forced to grow up separately.Vena lived a few years in an orphanage, but was never adopted due to his quiet nature. Maturing very quickly, he found he had a knack for healing and an insatiable interest in scientific contraptions. Always with his nose buried in books, he taught himself everything, eventually though, his looks caught the eye of a talent agency that attended the Orphanage and decided to take him in as a young teen model. Quickly making bank, he bought himself a swanky, penthouse apartment in his late teens and enrolled in the prestigious Sharly High.He is a quiet boy but greets everyone with a smile. Is very popular due to his handsome looks and polite demeanor. The girls fawn over him, the boys get jealous because they want to be him. But behind closed doors, he is naive and prone to loneliness. Often feeling alienated, afraid of being seen for only his looks, talent and money. Hoping to one day find someone he can truly call a friend..
The First
- Vena and his brother Tiarn are half Rava and half Veena, born to parents from sister tribes. Vena was a talented Dark Knight, he and his brother often sparred together to improve their skills as their tribes best hunters before Tiarn's untimely demise.- After his exile Vena travelled around for a while. Eventually he wound up slaying a sin eater in Tomra. Thankful for their savior the dwarves offered Vena a place to stay. It was here that he found dwaves making Gunblades, casting his old life and the memories of his brother's death aside. He put down his greatsword and took up the gunblade, Becoming a Gunbreaker.- Before long, he ended up in Eulmore, his handsome looks catching the eye of the Hostess of the Beehive. Here he was put to work as an escort, serving both men an women with private sessions. Quickly becoming a popular choice among the patrons of the Beehive, Vena made a modest living. One day he took an interest in cooking. The head chef was stern but also took a liking to him, teaching him how to cook. Slowly Vena became a talented chef himself, favouring sweets and desserts. At times, he was even allowed to be the dessert chef, whenever the staff were overloaded or unavailable.- Though his quiet and reserved nature often made people think he was cold, Vena was actually quite affectionate, in fact his first love was a fellow escort in the form of a Miqo'te named Ori'ana. She did not return his feelings, thus breaking his heart and turning him cold completely. The next day, she disappeared from the Beehive, destroying Vena's already scarred heart. After this time, Vena left the Beehive. Disappearing from Eulmore entirely, to become a travelling mercenary once more. Taking up jobs here and there where he can. One day even buying a small house with the money earned from his odd jobs. Somewhere to base himself when he's not completing missions.

The FirstTiarn was a young man of exception hunting talent. Closely matched by his brother Venase, the two of them often sparring and challenging each other to friendly competitions to hone their respective skills.On one particular expedition to the Qitana Ravel, the members of their tribe were inexperienced in dealing with sin eaters in the early days of the collapse, so when Tiarn was heavily injured at the hands of a Light Warden, they were under the impression that once injured, whether mortally or not, you were doomed to become a sin eater, a thrall of a Light Warden.Under the guise of this information, Tiarn begged for his brother to take his life, fearful that he would become a monster and only cause more pain. Reluctantly and with a heavy heart, Vena ended his brother's suffering. Though his expedition did not know of Tiarn's injuries and thus, blamed Vena for Tiarn's death. Exiling him from the tribe. Vena blames himself for the death of his brother and carries the scars with him for eternity.The SourceTiarn is a young, hot blooded Viera who is cocky, confident and handsome. He knows it too! Tiarn lost his parents in an accident, believing his brother Vena was lost too, unaware that the both of them survived and suffered the same injuries and memory loss. The two were separated and would end up in different hospitals and subsequently different orphanages. Tiarn was a loud, proud, cheerful young boy, quickly becoming the adopted son of a noble family, his father a high ranking member of the Ironworks. Tiarn got everything he ever wanted growing up in a rich family in Ishgard.Tiarn grew to become spoiled and cocky as a result, boasting about how good he was and he was indeed very good at most things he put his mind to. His parents were rarely around, often on business trips and attending social gatherings as most nobles were expected to do. Tiarn knew his parents loved him, but due to the distance between them, he grew to feel like he didn't belong. This feeling was only enhanced every time he was forced to make public appearances at social gatherings for the noble houses.This made him feel caged, restricted, alienated. Often acting out and getting himself in trouble, becoming something of a delinquent only adding to his charm. The tall, dark and handsome bad boy, the lady killer, the stealer over hearts. Tiarn regularly chased after girls who were taken, making them fall to his charm and enjoying the thrill of stealing girls from other guys before moving on to the next new girl. Though this earned him a bad reputation, it never stopped him getting what he wanted.He's goofy, cheesy and charming. A wild and carefree stud who bags all the ladies with his handsome looks and muscular build. He's a workout nut, keeping in peak physical condition, a man that loves to tank, wielding his greatsword with incredible speed, power and finesse. He's not very academically minded, unlike his long lost brother. But is entirely capable of achieving almost anything he sets his mind to.His good looks landed him a job with a modeling agency and when his family moved to Sharlayan when his father secured a lucrative contract to expand the Ironworks into Old Sharlayan. Tiarn was quickly put up in Sharly High, his tanking talents earning him respect among his peers. The guys respected him for his skill, but all secretly wanted to be him. His handsome looks causing the once all for Vena girls to split down the middle. Earning his fair share of fangirls who would trip over themselves just to get a glimpse of him in action.Despite his bad boy nature, Tiarn is actually rather soft inside. His first love was his family's house maid, his naivety wound up scarring his heart when he realised she was only using him. The scar on his heart led him to his war path of stealing girlfriends, but deep down, Tiarn really just wants to be loved unconditionally like everyone else!
